- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆You cannot make an appointment here like you can at other DMV's; so you are assigned a number as you walk in. It says bow long the wait is, but it is NEVER accurate. It said 30 minutes. We waited over an hour. I have come here for my license and for my son to take his permit test and the wait time is ridiculous. Everyone waiting gets so frustrated, that by the time their number is called, they are agitated. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The workers are lazy and in competent. This place is a joke and the workers don't care about their jobs. There is no accountability for anyone. I don't understand how they get away with such horrible service but I suppose that's because there is no where else to go. I'd call Harrisburg and complain but they don't seem to really care either. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆It deserves 0 stars. Absolutely a terrible place to get a permit or a license. The wait times are horrible and the staff is quite rude especially that old lady at the last counter. Freaking hate her so much. They were quite racist to one of my friends and would not give him a learners permit and kept delaying the process. Close this penn dot down.
